PAS tries to deviate from the normal modus operandi. At last the party realises that women sells. What make a woman candidate sell? Maybe at last PAS realises that a beautiful female candidate holds dearer to many hearts than a male candidate...and this is their last resort to exit gracefully at Tenang by election.
MIC used to have Komala Devi representing Meru, Klang. UMNO has had Dr. Mashitah. In fact her posters were stolen frequently during the 11th general election. Learning from that, DAP put up poster girl Hannah Teoh who won the beauty pagent - oopps election against another MCA much plain female candidate. In fact, Malaysian politic is much more advance than United States Of America (they were thrown choices to choose beautiful poster politician Sarah Palin as Vice President during last presidential election- and yes the Republican exit gracefully with the beautiful Sarah Palin landing herself hefty tv shows).

wahabi oh wahabi
Dua minggu lamanya saya tidak update blog kerana menunaikan umrah. Dua minggu juga saya mencari ilham dan petunjuk Ya Rabbiul Alamin, Sang Khaliq, Pencipta Alam. Pun begitu saya maseh update Facebook saya dan maseh mengikuti perkembangan ugama-politik tanah air dari bumi Hijaz; Madinah dan Makkah.
Sesungguhnya masa rehat yang diberikan itu cukup untuk saya melihat pelbagai polemik dan isu melalui kacamata orang luar.
KAUM MUJASSIMAH
Sesungguhnya masa rehat yang diberikan itu cukup untuk saya melihat pelbagai polemik dan isu melalui kacamata orang luar.
Sepanjang menunaikan umrah saya jejaki stesyen keretapi yang telah ditutup di Madinah di mana puluhan ribu tentera Turki Uthmaniyah dihantar mempertahankan bumi Hijaz dari puak Wahhabi. Ramai juga yang mati shahid menurut kawan saya yang berbangsa Turki. Juga saya dapat merasakan tekanan seorang Islam Ahlul Sunah Wal Jamaah apabila selawat dan salam ke atas junjungan besar Nabi Muhammad S.A.W di Masjid Nabawi tidak boleh dibuat dengan suara yang kuat kerana akan dituduh bida'ah oleh puak Wahhabi.
Begitu juga doa yang panjang-panjang di larang dibaca di Hijr Ismail atau belakang Maqam Nabi Ibrahim A.S kerana dikatakan cukup dengan solat, dan perbuatan berdoa itu suatu yang bida'ah. Banyak lagi perkara-perkara yang membuatkan hati ini tersentak dan menangis kerana seolah-olah umat Islam tidak dibenarkan berselawat ke atas semulia-mulia manusia. Malah gua Tsur dimana Baginda Rasullullah bersembunyi dengan Saidina Abu Bakar semasa perang di sekitar Madinah juga ditutup dengan konkrit bagi mengelakkan ada jemaah yang mengambil kesempatan bersolat dan berdoa didalamnya. Namun, bau harum keringat dan darah Baginda Rasulullah maseh tercium seharum kasturi oleh saya dari jarak 10 kaki dari mulut gua tersebut dan maseh terpahat dalam memori bau saya. Dan doa qunut tidak dibaca Imam sewaktu solat subuh...... Bumi Hijaz saya tinggalkan dengan hati yang hiba, dan pengorbanan Baginda Rasulullah serta para Sahabat dalam berdakwah mengembangkan Ugama Islam terpahat di hati ini......membuatkan saya membara untuk mempertahankan ugama Islam.

Saya belek berita dari Malaysia dan terkejut dengan pengumuman satu cawangan UMNO di ibukota bahawa Dr. Mohd Asri Zainal Abidin (MAZA) mengumumkan kemasukan beliau dalam UMNO.
UMNO bukan partai yang tandus kepimpinan Islamnya, malah banyak tokoh Islam dan waris ulama besar Tanah Melayu dalam UMNO. Sayangnya UMNO tidak mengetengahkan mereka sebagai Tokoh Islam. Contohnya Tan Sri Muhyidin Yassin. Selain itu banyak juga pemimpin akar umbi di Kelantan dari waris keturunan ulama pndo terbilang...sayang, permata yang ada tidak digilap, kaca pula yang nak ditempa....
Membawa Dr. MAZA masuk ke dalam UMNO seperti memberikan suntikan toksin kepada pemulihan UMNO. Dr. MAZA yang pernah didakwa memberi ceramah tanpa tauliah di Selangor oleh JAIS berfahaman Wahhabi dan ini adalah liabiliti kepada UMNO. Islam. Kesan kemusnahan umat Islam yang berpunca dari Wahhabi juga dirasai di Malaysia di mana PAS yang ditubuhkan oleh golongan muda/salafi kini berfahaman Wahhabi. Sifat Wahhabi menuduh orang lain kafir hanya kerana perkara yang furuk/perbedaan cabang kecil dalam ugama yang tak menjejaskan Tauhid, menyamakan Allah dengan sifat makhluk dan menyatakan Allah bertempat dan berjisim adalah salah dari segi akidah.
KAUM MUJASSIMAH
Tambahan lagi tatkala ini kemusnahan yang dibuat oleh Wahhabi di Palestine amat teruk -perpecahan di kalangan umat Islam
Tambahan lagi fatwa terbaharu University Al Azhar yang berpendapat bahawa Wahhabi bukan Salafi tapi mujassimah, oleh itu memusnahkan Islam dan dikira KAFIR!
Kaum Mujassimah atau kaum yang "menyerupakan" menisbah sifat Allah dengan sifat makhluk. Kuam Mujassimah juga dikatakan kaum yang "menghinakan" kerana mereka suka menghina-hina pandangan umat Islam yang lain. Sifat yang mnerosakkan Islam dari dalam ini sebenarnya mainan Yahudi dalam penubuhan asal fahaman Wahhabiyah. Di Malaysia, jelas sifat ini banyak didapati di kalangan Wahhabi dan penyokong parti PAS. Sewajarnya UMNO kaji balik kemasukan Dr MAZA. UMNO sudah ada selling point terbaik dan boleh dijadikan differentiation dalam marketing politic sebenarnya. Sebaiknya terangkan kepada umat Islam bahawa UMNO adalah satu satunya partai yang mengikut Islam Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jamaah dan pelaksanaan Islam pentadbiran Kerajaan Persekutuan selama ini adalah komitmen UMNO kepada umat Islam di Malaysia dan menjadi ikutan sedunia dalam menarajui sisitem perbankan, Unit Amanah dan Insuran berasaskan Syariah (Syariah Compliance dan Syariah Friendly).

Key Performance Index (KPI) untuk parti politik alternatif Pakatan Rakyat!
Fast Forward, pada 8 Mac 2008-Pilihan Raya Umum 12 (PRU12)
Kalau dunia dikejutkan dengan tsunami yang meragut banyak nyawa di Acheh, Indonesia, Phuket Thailand, Sri Lanka, India dan Maldives pada tahun 2004, maka pada 8 Mac 2008, Malaysia dikejutkan dengan tsunami politik.
Pakatan Rakyat menang besar atas tiket "perpaduan parti alternatif" dan penepian ideologi parti masing-masing!
Perpaduan parti lawan bukan perkara baru di Malaysia . Ia pernah dikenalkan oleh Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah yang membawa kepada S46 menang dan membentuk kerajaan campuran dengan PAS di Kelantan.
Seperti juga dalam marketing, slogan atau war cry amat penting...dan slogan utama PR adalah..."menidakkan peluang majority 2/3 BN di Parliament"
Selain itu gula-gula politik diberikan dalam manifesto dari air dan elektrik percuma, parking percuma, biasiswa percuma sehinggalah kepada penurunan harga minyak!

In marketing politics, 3 out of 4P'S in marketing principle can be applied here; product, placement/delivery /services and price. The discerning "rakyat" by now should ask these questions- these are the checklist prepared to gauge performance of the alternative coalition:-
1-What are the products of the election or by elections in Malaysia nowadays?-
If political stability is the objective, do Malaysians achieve the much desired political stability by denying BN the 2/3 majority in Parliament?
2-Does the alternative political entity nee PR deliver all that was professed in the manifesto as per promised to the discerning "rakyat" in the last general elections?
If the constituent voters are looking for better services/ or nowadays more commonly known as people-oriented MP's, are they having one with their present choice of MPs?
3-What are the price they have to pay or choices that they have to do without in choosing the MPs from alternative political entity?
(Remember the 3 P's ) If the abovementioned Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) failed, then, no amount of political marketing will undo the reputation of a BAD PRODUCT i.e. political party.
There will be massive swing in vote pattern in General Election 13. Historical data in Malaysian elections pattern show that the pendulum and vote swing pattern exist! A walk down political history lane showed that in General Election 2000, BN won comfortably. In 2004 General Elections, the pendulum and massive swing of voters stopped because of "the feel good feeling" with the dawn of a new administration and new political era. That year the alternative coalition failed miserably. However, political promised made in 2004 failed to materialised due to some mishaps, ill timing and unfortunate events, General Election 12 saw the pendulum vote swung towards the opposition. The pendulum swing was massive enough to cause one veteran politician to suffer cardiac arrest on the very night the election result of 2008 was announced (The poor politician, never recover and died the next day)
To Pakatan Rakyat Coalition (PR), be very careful of what you preach for...... if for one reason or another, the political entity fail during the five year delivery period, then it will spell the end of the political marketing of PR!
BN learned the hard way in 2008, and it is possible that there will be another massive vote swing in the next election 0f 2012........Looking at the whole scenario now, I deeply believe that with all the marketing hype a.k.a. election manifesto failed miserably to materialise in Pakatan Rakyat held states, the possibility of massive vote swing to BN is big!
However, UMNO / BN should never rest on its laurel of past successes. UMNO/BN has to constantly fight off misconception and misperception and smear campaign purposely done by PR coalition. UMNO at best has done so much by changing from within; fighting off graft as seen in the last UMNO General Assembly.
What is needed now is to fill in the generation gap of enrolment in all BN party components for age group of 35-50 years old, the market segments identified as bread winners and empty nesters.
Currently, these are the age groups that have no place in Pemuda nor Puteri UMNO because of the limitating age bracket, but at the same time cannot "make" it to the main UMNO or Wanita branch because they are deemed "too young". UMNO has to move fast to fill in the age gap because they are the decision makers and has big influence on the younger generations. These are also the people identified to be able to infuse UMNO with young blood and help branding strategy of UMNO and BN.
