Mutakhir, ADUN Permatang Pasir pula meninggal dunia. Satu lagi PRK.

Masihkan rakyat dibuai dek janji manis Kerajaan Negeri Pulau Pinang?

Iaitu bilamana DAP /Pakatan Rakyat membentuk Kerajaan Negeri Pulau Pinang selepas 12 Mac 2008.

La Haulawala Quwata Illa Billah Hil Alyil Adzim . Wassalam.

solar eclipse and the death of the age of innocence among politicians

Politicians wake up, religious and secular education of our future generations are no pawn to your merciless political game- photo courtesy of Utusan Malaysia

Malaysians of all walks of life woke up to experience the longest solar eclipse this century on July 22. In medieval times, solar eclipse was often associated with bad omen. Scientist however have other explaination. Eclipse occurs when the sun path is blocked by the orbiting moon. Thus sun rays is blocked, for a few minutes, from reaching the earth . This create the "ring look" or penumbra, around the sun , the effect that can be observed by the naked eye.

While the effect of total solar eclipse cannot be observed from Malaysia, the nation has not been spared from many a-bad-thing that has happened aftermath. Malaysians are still reeling on the sudden demise of Teoh Beng Hock, the revelation extraordinaire by Truth 4 Teoh Beng Hock blog, the unscrupulous politicians who feed the public anger on issues that are polarised by ethnic, religion and cultural background while at the same time pocketing the gains that comes with the issues garnered..come what it may, in terms of political mileage, positions in the party and society, tenders, contracts, cold hard cash...

The age of innocence among these politicians were long passe. The longer these issues are put off from a fair trial, the longer the shelf life of these politicians shall be, it seems.......

Sue and thou shall be sued, is the hottest fad at the moment. Forget the truth, to get off the hook, these tainted politicians will sue the opponents....and while the issue is still under investigations, or have been filed for court hearing (court cases which appear to take ions of years to clear), these unscrupolous politicians can always claim that the defendant; be it the police, or MACC or the Government of Malaysia, has practice selective prosecution.

Forget the explaination either, since it has not been tried by the court, there is no verdict...the defendant shall not speaketh, nor offer explaination, of the issues lest thou shall fall under sub judiaciary....

In the mean time, these politicians will feed the public with more misperception through public rallies, religious "ceramah", sponsored programmmes aimed at poisoning the minds of the youth, the poor and the destitute

To Malaysians, wake up, for we have made a grave mistake. One moment of anger due misperception, and a mistake done in choosing the wrong people representative during balloting, have lead all of us, to a five year period of eclipse.......in our lives.

Heal thy nation

Transparent and independent;three representatives from the opposition-photo courtesy of blogger Aloq Staq

To heal thy nation, justice must be seen. Justice is not limited to one grieving party, but must be disseminated to everybody equally.

While I symphatised with the late Teoh family, his fiancee and an unborn child, my heart cries out even louder for a miscarriage of justice done to the police, MACC officers, denizens and government of Malaysia.

The primary issue was corruption, and the late Teoh was a witness to the prosecuting team. He was supposed to bring more documents to assist MACC. It was common for all witness to be summoned up to MACC headquarters to be questioned and the questioning can take several hours. It was common too, to have the questioning extended till late at night..just talk to a few person who had been summoned to MACC in the past .

The late Teoh must have felt very tired or have some strong and valid reason to ask for an overnight stay at MACC...... reasons now, unfortunately, buried with him......alas he was found lifeless the morning after.

MACC is an independent body that reports to PM. The same set up is also found in former British colony like Hong Kong. To reflect this independent set up, at the very top echelon of MACC, consisted the three representatives from Pakatan Rakyat....

Lest the members of the public quickly pointing fingers, please remember, above all, MACC will not gain anything with a dead witness off the dock! More details can be found in these latest ,interesting and exhilarating articles of The Unspinners and The Thirteen Million Guy Rumbles

Nations, are entitled to eclipse, but once the eclipse is over, the sun shines ever brighter. As the cloud parts, the sun rays will reach every cubic millimeter of the atmosphere to bring about warm and reassuring rays for the rest of the days...........These past few days is a test, of sort, to the law enforcing authority, namely the police and MACC, judiciary system and above all law abiding denizens of Malaysia. The big question now is, can Malaysians think and act wisely?

Recent history of modern Malaysia has shown that Malaysians are easy prey to dirty manipulating tactics by irresponsible politicians to fan racial tension and instigate anti establishment (ill ) feeling amongst her people. Remember how an opposition MP , used the issue of woman striped naked down to her bra and panties in a police lock up to fan racial hatred towards the police and Malaysian government a few years ago? It turned out that the woman was a Malay woman, caught for suspected drugs abused with her then boyfriend within a school compound! The issue died suddenly after the FACTS was released. That female MP NEVER APOLOGISED to members of the public who were plainly misled to believe that the woman was a Chinese national.

There are other issues that followed afterward, but the damage done by many irresponsible MPs was only tips of the iceberg. If the opposition MPs are true to their calling for the end of bad treatment in the lock up, why then should they confined the issue to a certain race? Why are the opposition SO EAGER to champion a certain race!

Polarised politic; that is politics simply based on race and religion, never really die with the set up of Pakatan Rakyat. The facts are now clear, that Pakatan Rakyat objective to give alternative to the people, and materialised two- party -system such as in USA or UK was a mere myth!. DAP 's major role and prime instigator in politicising The Teoh Beng Hock case ( as well as other Pakatan Rakyat coalition member) is a proof that polarised politics is rife in Malaysia, and Pakatan Rakyat is championing such agenda.

Malaysians are taught to win early on in life,...... public exam, entrance exams for elite schools and universities, games, race, and.......in adult life .......the party that we give support shall win in an election, to such extend that the winning streak is like a life tonic to some people. And so we have a kiasu subculture born in this country , a subculture that is uniquely Malaysians. Kiasu means fight to win at all cost. These days kiasu has gain notoriety as the fight to win at all cost and even willing to
jeopardised morality and conscience in the process. Maybe in our haste to rush and gain worldly gains we forget that we, as servant of God, will be questioned for whatever misdeed we do in our afterlife there after.

Have we ever stop and think that winning is not the solution to all problems especially when it involves conscience. Conscience is what makes up the soul of a person.

My past postings have argued on political marketing. Political marketing, is a powerful tool. But once misused, and abused, the wrongly skewed strategy executed to garner more support backfires.......that lead to more public outcry .......and eventually will do more damage than the passive marketing based on brand alone; marketing that is based on past reliable performance and present effectiveness of handling a series of issues.

Politicians who are trigger happy to politicised the death of the late Teoh now find that the damage is boomeranged towards them. DAP and Pakatan Rakyat should have never use the unfortunate death to gain political mileage. Have they not learn enough? The past issues of members of the opposition team easily jumping to conclusion, making a hill out of mole on a certain localised issue to gain political mileage, and the present issue of Teoh Beng Hock's death and the link to underworld vice activities, permanently tainted the opposition.......these issues are fast making the opposition team a loser in the (hopefully) more discerning and maturing political eyes of the Malaysian public.

As the sun parted warm rays towards earth after the longest eclipse in the 21st century yesterday, it is my wish that Malaysians from all walks of life give support to the setting up of the Public Inquest of the late Teoh and the setting up of A Royal Commission for MACC . Amen

About the upcoming sun eclipse on 22 July, events for 26 July , soul searching and soul mate searching

"Nations, like stars, are entitled to eclipse. All is well, provided the light returns and the eclipse does not become endless night. Dawn and resurrection are synonymous. The reappearance of the light is the same as the survival of the soul."
Victor Hugo

I would argue that human beings are also entitled to eclipse. Sometimes when in crisis, when the dark night of the soul is upon us, we feel that we cannot bear another moment. Yet that's when the light comes in and shines brighter than ever before.....courtesy http://blog.beliefnet.com/astrologicalmusings/2009/07/sunday-inspiration-for-the-ecl.html

The sun eclipse will be visible in most parts of Asia , refer here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9uX3Z7Ihzk

To readers, take a break! These days there are enough heart wrenching stories going around from the merciless murder of Teoh, to brave exposure by Wee and nerve wrecking gangster type Ronnie kicking up storm at a mortuary to dirty politicians trying to make heaps of profit from the ill fated incident.
To concern members of the public, please please keep a level head , keep cool , do not be easily provoked by rumours. Let the police and MACC do a thorough check on the whole crime scene lest the murderer escape unscathed!

So for a change, on a lighter note, this coming weekend is going to be a soul searching cum a soul mate searching event for some......why not try out this event ..............

Business networking and soul mate searching??? Read on

MENILAI KPI PEMBANGKANG A.K.A PAS DI KELANTAN BAHAGIAN 2

Bismillah Hir Rahman Nir Rahim. Assalamualaikum.

Menilai KPI Pembangkang /a.ka.

Sepatutnya orang sebegini bersyukur.

Menilai KPI index Pakatan Rakyat bahagian 1

(Gambar Janda ADUN Melor, Kelantan)

Assalamualaikum.

Keputusan Penilaian KPI 1- Gagal!

Kg Buah Pala land too costly for Penang govt to acquire

PENANG: The Penang government said it would be too costly for it to acquire the land in Kampung Buah Pala from a cooperative and a developer to enable the 23 squatter families facing eviction to continue to live there.
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said Saturday he sympathised with the villagers but the cost of the land was high as it was freehold and had been approved for development.
The Federal Court had ruled that the land belonged to the Penang Government Officers Cooperative and developer Nusmetro Ventures (P) Sdn Bhd and that the villagers had to vacate it.
Lim, caught between the demands of the villagers and the court ruling, had asked the federal government to acquire the land from the cooperative and the developer.
Speaking to reporters after opening the Penang International Halal Hub task force meeting here, he said the Federal Court ruling had to be adhered to although the villagers had lived there for a long time.
He said that despite the court ruling, the state government had succeeded in getting a month-long extension for the villagers to move out.
Besides asking the federal government to acquire the land, Lim had also advised the developer to pay the agreed compensation of RM200,000 to each of the families facing eviction and called on the families to accept the payment.
When told that the development did not want to pay the compensation and the villagers did not want to move out, he said the state government would issue a directive to stop the developer from starting work at the site but added that this would incur financial cost to the state government.
"What else can the state government do? Like the Kampung Buah Pala villagers, the state government is also a victim in the case because it was not us who started the issue. Therefore, do not blame the state government," he said.
Lim said he was not avoiding a meeting with the villagers but the work of a group of opportunists had worsened the situation.
"I regret that a small group of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) members had attempted to become heroes and worsened the situation when (Deputy Chief Minister I) Mansor Othman tried to resolve the problem.
"I am prepared to meet the villagers but not the opportunists. I have no qualms about meeting the villagers but my two deputies (deputy chief ministers I and II) have done an excellent job of that," he said. - Bernama

a) Menangani gejala sosial melalui pendekatan ugama -GAGAL

b) Menangani isu penagihan dadah (sub gejala sosial) dikalangan belia melalui pendekatan ugama- GAGAL

c) mengurangkan jangkitan HIV (sub gejala sosial) melalui pendekatan ugama-GAGAL

e) Menguruskan keperluan asas rakyat seperti pembekalan air- GAGAL

Rujukan

Laporan Alam Sekitar-Alam Sekitar dan sumber Asli

Statistik penagih dadah-gejala sosial

Statistik jangkitan HIV-gejala sosial

Melakar Brand politik UMNO: kesinambungan, kesejahteraan, kestabilan

Key Performance Index Pakatan Rakyat (PR) setelah satu setengah tahun berlalu

(ulasan seterusnya dibuat dalam bahasa Inggeris)

In marketing politics, 3 out of 4P'S in marketing principle can be applied here; product, placement/delivery /services and price. The discerning "rakyat" by now should ask these questions- these are the checklist prepared to gauge performance of the alternative coalition:-

1-What are the products of the election or by elections in Malaysia nowadays?-

If political stability is the objective, do Malaysians achieve the much desired political stability by denying BN the 2/3 majority in Parliament?

2-Does the alternative political entity nee PR deliver all that was professed in the manifesto as per promised to the discerning "rakyat" in the last general elections?

If the constituent voters are looking for better services/ or nowadays more commonly known as people-oriented MP's, are they having one with their present choice of MPs?

3-What are the price they have to pay or choices that they have to do without in choosing the MPs from alternative political entity?

(Remember the 3 P's ) If the abovementioned Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) failed, then, no amount of political marketing will undo the reputation of a BAD PRODUCT i.e. political party.

There will be massive swing in vote pattern in General Election 13. Historical data in Malaysian elections pattern show that the pendulum and vote swing pattern exist! A walk down political history lane showed that in General Election 2000, BN won comfortably. In 2004 General Elections, the pendulum and massive swing of voters stopped because of "the feel good feeling" with the dawn of a new administration and new political era. That year the alternative coalition failed miserably. However, political promised made in 2004 failed to materialised due to some mishaps, ill timing and unfortunate events, General Election 12 saw the pendulum vote swung towards the opposition. The pendulum swing was massive enough to cause one veteran politician to suffer cardiac arrest on the very night the election result of 2008 was announced (The poor politician, never recover and died the next day)

To Pakatan Rakyat Coalition (PR), be very careful of what you preach for...... if for one reason or another, the political entity fail during the five year delivery period, then it will spell the end of the political marketing of PR!

BN learned the hard way in 2008, and it is possible that there will be another massive vote swing in the next election 0f 2012........Looking at the whole scenario now, I deeply believe that with all the marketing hype a.k.a. election manifesto failed miserably to materialise in Pakatan Rakyat held states, the possibility of massive vote swing to BN is big!

However, UMNO / BN should never rest on its laurel of past successes. UMNO/BN has to constantly fight off misconception and misperception and smear campaign purposely done by PR coalition. UMNO at best has done so much by changing from within; fighting off graft as seen in the last UMNO General Assembly.

What is needed now is to fill in the generation gap of enrolment in all BN party components for age group of 35-50 years old, the market segments identified as bread winners and empty nesters.

Currently, these are the age groups that have no place in Pemuda nor Puteri UMNO because of the limitating age bracket, but at the same time cannot "make" it to the main UMNO or Wanita branch because they are deemed "too young". UMNO has to move fast to fill in the age gap because they are the decision makers and has big influence on the younger generations. These are also the people identified to be able to infuse UMNO with young blood and help branding strategy of UMNO and BN.

To be continued.......

Next the battle for brands or the battle for love?
